Another Miracle

Incase you ever doubt the power of prayer!  Yet again we are stand speechless and amazed ( I guess we shouldn't be by now)  and just in awe of how God's hand is over us.
Yesterday there was an accident in the house!  By a series of events  of someone opening a box and Carmela standing a little too close she was hit in the eye with the scissors while there were completely opened.  Now if you think that is horrible to hear you should have been here I think I am still recuperating from the trauma.  Carmela began to scream and of course there was a lot of blood and panic set in for all of us.  Nathan ran to get a taxi to take her to the hospital and Allison Pearce who is visiting from Calgary helped to calm Carmela down.  I tried to splash water to see where the cut was but all I could see was the bleeding.  On top of all this was Isabella and Julia crying and horrified about what just happened.  We PRAYED and prayed and prayed and as Nathan was on his way to the hospital downtown to have her looked at we managed to call family in Abbotsford to get them to pray as well...............
Well once the opthamolagist at the hospital looked her over his first words to Nathan were, "Do you believe in miracles?"  Now how many times do you hear those words coming out of a doctor?"  To make a crazy story short, Carmela's eyes are perfect and all there is to prove the event is a little cut on her eye lid hardly noticeable.   We were able to call everyone back and thank them for praying and allow them to breathe and cry a huge sigh of relief.

PRAISE GOD, that he has his angels protecting us everyday!  Please never think that your prayers for us are in vain!!!! We are living proof to all your prayers.

we love you guys!  We are so thankful we are in this together.

Sandra
an amazed (still a little traumatized) thankful mommy

Thanks be to God... I'm glad I wasn't there... I'm hopeless in situations like that... Good work Alison... As a mother Sandra, I can only imagine the pressure you felt in your chest... I was having an anxiety attack reading it.
