Blog Candy

Well, we have about a month left here in Calgary!!!I have recieved this beautiful stamped book from a Brenda as a little gift, isn't it beautiful? I thought I would celebrate with a little blog candy! I will edit this post to let you know what the prize will be once I decide. To enter all you need to do is leave a comment on this post. I will draw a name on Carmela's birthday - June 12. She is going to be 5!!

I haven't had a good theraputic stamping night in a while with all the prep of moving to Costa Rica, but as soon as I get settled I plan on stamping something great, I wonder if my stamping style will change in Latin America???

A contest!

The first person to email this statement in English will get a prize!

"Confía en Jehová[a] con todo tu corazón
y no te apoyes en tu propia prudencia."

may the best non-spanish speaker win!!!

Our New mailing address in Costa Rica

Once we arrive in Costa Rica ( August 23) our mailing address will be as follows:

Nathan & Sandra Kliewer(This is a must)
Instituto de Lengua Española
Apartado 100 - 2350
San José, Costa Rica
This is not a physical location, but a post office box. This address will be shared by ALL the students so it is IMPERATIVE that your name be on all correspondence.

Receiving things by mail:

Everything mailed to Cost Rica, except books, is subject to duty. Getting packages can be a time consuming process if they are stopped by customs officials. Sometimes packages arrive without a problem, other times you will have to go to the post office (you may have to wait for a short period, depending on how busy it is) and pay a customs charge. In general, it would be OK to have people send small, inexpensive items, but not electronics or other high priced items. (Also, clothes, even used, are often charged a high duty)

Problem solved!!

The email situation has been rescued! Thanks to a Tech friend of ours, we can now worry about other things. Like getting ready for school next week, I will be taking "Alliance History and Thought" at the Alliance University College. Its been only 10 years! since I actually attended a College, my distance learning through Briercrest has been fabulous, I haven't had to actually go to school. That will be a big relief to tick this week off my calendar!

love Sandra

Helppppppppppppppppppp

ok this is the crisis!!! someone (NATHAN!!!!!) installed Office 2003 and in the process we lost our address book :( and that means we need to recollect all our "kliewers ole" mailing list as well! If you read this PLEASE PLEASE send us a quick email!! If you think of someone else who's email we would of had that would be great too.
